Bottom of the pyramid by C.K. Pralhad

Bottom of the pyramid by C.K. Pralhad:

This book is a good read for those who want to make career in micro finance or rural management. It talks about strategy used by Aravind Eye Hospital and Jaipur foot inventor to spread the awareness among rural people about health related issues.  The central theme of the book is for the MNCs to start looking at the rural market or BOC (people who are in the bottom of the pyramid i.e. earning less than $2.00 / day)  as a profitable one and not as a burden viewed from their preconceived notion. For MBA aspirants this book is a must read!

P.S. : You might get a reading comprehension question from this book for exams like IRMA, and other Rural and Agriculture MBA entrance exams.
