Coaching classes
We see that coaching classes are mushrooming at the rate of the multiplication of deadly viruses in human body. So which class to join for MBA entrance? well before answering this question let me categorise students on the basis of his or her confidence on himself or herself.
Category 1: Those who are very good or exceptionally well in math but verbally challenged. Lots of students from IITs , government engineering colleges, students with good IQ fall under this category.
Category 2: Students who are good at verbal but average at Mathematics due to academic gap. students mainly from commerce background and pure science background fall under this category.
Category 3: Students who are average at both the skills.
For 2nd and 3rd type students i would suggest a private coaching. It is not affordable for many to go for one tutor one student class but for them i would suggest to go for a small class where student / teacher ratio is low. If you go behind name and fame chances of you getting attention are very low. (believe me guys its a fact)
Now for the 1 st typo I would suggest to buy just previous years second hand coaching material ( It would cost you Rs. 600-700) . And if anyone is interested in joining coaching can go for online coaching. (It actually saves time, money and suitable for CAT exam format )
Now coming back to the coaching part how would I rate coaching institutes on a scale of 1 to 10 on the basis of study material?

So, based on my experience IMS' study material and Career launcher's LR/DI material with TIME's Quant is must for CAT. Aim cats are good but this time CAT was much simpler than aimcats!
